Bookings Policy
Makayla Raynes Refined Art
Thanks for choosing Makayla Raynes Refined Art. The following applies to any bookings secured through Makayla Raynes Refined Art.
Booking and Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability. No bookings are confirmed until accepted by Makayla Raynes Refined Art in writing and it is confirmed the deposit has been received.
Enquiries do not reserve bookings.
Deposits
A deposit of 50% that is non-refundable is required to secure bookings.
After a secured deposit:
A commission space will be reserved for you
Or a and discussed and scheduled date and time for a photography session.
Work will not commence until the deposit has been paid.
Rescheduling
If notice is given by the client to reschedule with 48 hrs or more, you have one reschedule free.
If notice is given by a client to reschedule with less than 48 hours, a $50 fee will apply.
If the client is a no-show, the deposit will be forfeited by the client and their spot will be filled by another client. A new deposit will be required to re-book and scheduled a date and time.
Conditions out of either party control, no fee will be incurred.
If Makayla Raynes Refined Art needs to reschedule, no fee will be incurred and the deposit will be transferred to the new date.
Cancellations
Client deposits are non-refundable.
If a customer or client decides to cancel, change their mind too late, or not show up to the scheduled booking, the deposit will be forfeited.
If Makayla Raynes Refined Art cancels, an alternative date will be supplied and / or a refund of the full deposit will be made.
Pricing & Payment Terms
Pricing may vary dependant on size of artwork, level of detail, number of animals /subjects, duration of session, travel requirement, overall time and complexity.
You will be supplied a quote or invoice once work is completed, this is to be paid before shipping commences.
Commission Work: Once work is complete, the amount will be due to be paid before delivery or collection of work.
Photography Work: Payment is due before the day of the session booked (Unless agreed otherwise).
No work will be released until payment has been made.
Artistic style
Booking with Makayla Raynes Refined Art, means you have read and acknowledged services provided will reflect the individual style of the artist and are up to artistic interpretation.
Copyright
All work created by Makayla Raynes Refined Art remains under the copyright of Makayla Raynes Refined Art, this includes any photography imagery.
Purchasing artwork, prints, photography, or any work created by Makayla Raynes Refined Art, does not automatically transfer copyright to the client.
Makayla Raynes Refined Art’s photographs, prints, and any artwork or work created by the artist are not to be commercially reproduced, resold, altered, used to create merchandise, or commercially exploited in any way.
Makayla Raynes Refined Art and artist reserve the right to use photographs, prints, artwork, photos for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, promotional purposes.
Timeframes
The timeline for commissions may vary depending on (but not limited to) what the client wants, size of artwork, number of subjects, detail or piece, current workload.
The timeline for photography sessions will be discussed with the client prior to making a booking.
Only estimates will be given, know that this does not guarantee a piece of work will be done on time.
Client responsibility
Clients are to provide clear, high quality reference photos for commissions.
Clients are to provide ready and accessible areas for agreed photoshoots, ensuring subjects to the shoot are there.
Photo shoots specific to location are to be discussed and agreed to in advance.
By booking a commission or photography shoot with Makayla Raynes Refined Art, you agree that you have read and understood and accept details written out in the bookings policy.
