Refunds & Cancellations Policy
Makayla Raynes Refined Art
Please carefully read the following before purchasing or booking.
Deposits
All deposits (50%) made for commission bookings or photography bookings are non-refundable.
Deposits secure a slot for your commission piece and a date, time for your photography shoot and cover initial preparation and planning.
Cancellations (Initiated by clients)
If the client chooses to cancel a commission or photography session, the deposit will be retained.
If work has already commenced on a commission, additional costs may be charged depending on the amount of work completed.
No refunds will be given for completed artworks or delivered photography images.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule a photography session with reasonable notice: 48 hours notice required.
1 reschedule is free, the next may incur a new deposit fee.
You may converse with Makayla Raynes about a finish date for commissions, pushing a date out may be an option though it is not guaranteed to be finished earlier than initially agreed upon.
Cancellations (Initiated by Makayla Raynes)
In the unlikely event Makayla Raynes Refined Art must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, contact will be made to reschedule the booking or commission date.
If it is not suitable to reschedule a full refund of any payments made (Including deposit) will be provided.
Weather Policy
Any bookings made outdoors may be rescheduled on the basis of unsuitable weather conditions.
These sessions may be rescheduled due to conditions, and the decision will be made only to ensure protection of equipment and the highest quality outcome for the client. Keeping the safety of those involved to the highest of priorities.
Prints & Artwork Refunds
Once work has commenced or has been completed, refunds are not offered due to the nature of original and custom artwork.
All prints on Makayla Raynes Refined Art are not eligible for refunds due to change of mind.
Damaged Items
If artwork that you have purchased arrives damaged, please contact Makayla Raynes Refined Art within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the damage and packaging.
Depending on the situation, a replacement, repair or partial refund may be offered.
Non-Payment
Final photography images or completed commissions will not be delivered until full payment has been received by Makayla Raynes.
Failure to complete payment may result in Makayla Raynes cancelling the booking or it may result in the forfeit of the initial deposit made.
By purchasing or booking a photography session or commission slot from Makayla Raynes Refined Art / Makayla Raynes, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this refunds and cancellations policy.
